I am not registered for VAT.  There are no plans to “expand” this business and therefore it is unlikely that my turnover will cause me to have to charge VAT to you. I do, however, have to absorb the cost of this tax in almost everything that I buy.   

Postage is charged, for the present, per order to keep it as fair as possible. For those outside the UK, please note that any parcel over 2kg suddenly jumps in price (much more than the rest of Europe). I use Royal Mail First Class for most UK, Airmail up to 2kg and use DHL for all the rest. If you want anything different, including insurance, please ask! 

HOW TO ORDER: 

That’s about it apart from almost the most important  Please! If you can send me your orders with part numbers (Best in Excel, if you can do that - copy from the lists!) then I can understand what you need more easily; there is less chance of mistakes and I can get the parts posted more quickly. Just email your list – I will quote postage and advise of any parts that may have been deleted. 

The OEM Yamaha parts are in an excel file for you to download as there is still a lot of work to do before I can put it into proper web pages.

The NEW PARTS list is now in web pages which you can copy from. There is also a download copy if you prefer.

USED PARTS are by quotation only.  You can copy part numbers from the OEM list and I will give you prices and photos of used parts where it is necessary to show condition.

Please note that I am now ... slowly ... altering the site so that pictures and diagrams of parts will be available.  Also, postage charges will be shown against every part and ... finally, you will be able to click a button and order off the page.  There you go, I've said I'll do it...now, I just have to actually do it.  That's why there are blank columns in the new parts pages!

PAYMENT: 

£UK only. By Paypal to: add “sales@” to  “alpha-one.co.uk” ; direct bank transfer (details below) or £UK cheque/money order.  I do not take plastic direct but you can, of course, use Paypal. I do not charge for Paypal.  Cash is also OK for small orders (any exchangeable currency!) - all post is opened only by me - but I cannot be responsible for anything that happens before it reaches my house!  So, for small orders from outside UK, this is an option that only you can decide the risk on.

DELIVERY: 

Most orders will normally be dispatched within 48 hours of the receipt of cleared funds.  If I’m going on holiday (no plans!) I’ll let you know when I quote postage cost.  If I am away for a few days, I will put a message on the HOME PAGE. Some items may be back ordered and will follow, usually within a week, at my cost. All my normal working stock has to be accomodated in my house – and my stock control is not perfect! 

Some OEM parts I do not stock as they are not in high demand – these may have to be ordered from Yamaha, Japan.  At any one time now, I also have back orders with Japan that filter through in months rather than days. If anything that you order falls into this small category, I will try to advise you. If you get fed up waiting, just say and I’ll refund immediately.  

REFUNDS / EXCHANGES / CREDITS: 

Basically, I want to be reasonable and hope you will be too!  Even using part numbers can give problems on occasion but hopefully keeps them to a minimum. If you have not got the right factory parts list for your type of bike, please downloadable a free pdf copy (or I can email it – but large files!) or you can buy one of my reproduced printed versions. I have most but not all versions.  If you have one that I am not offering, please let me know!

If it’s “your” mistake, you pay the extra postage and return the part in the same condition as received within a reasonable time. If it’s “my” mistake, I pay the extra postage, apologise and make “good” as soon as possible. If it’s nobody’s  mistake – just imperfect life – I will listen and try to keep everyone happy.  I can’t stand small print...
